Well Dad 2014, this is our 8 th year without you. It's still hard celebrating at a family occasion without the Captain of the family. I always have my 'Special time' with you in my head. Today I had your photo and a candle lit, like I do every year with Holly around it and spoke to you. I said you would be so proud of us all. How far we have come. You left us when Anthony was very fragile but if you had been here today you would have had a tear in your eyes as we all celebrate Christmas. We could finally ask Mum and Wilf round for Christmas tea, something we could never do previously as we would never know how things would be on the day. I was so happy to celebrate with Mum and Wilf at Anthony's. mum enjoyed herself but was ready to go home to bed. I am so proud of my brother Wilf. He has always been there for Mum. He carried on doing your job with Mum. He takes her round to every bodies at Christmas time, like you used to do. You would be so proud of him Dad. He has looked after Mum and you wouldn't recognise the house now!
