Hi, Grandad. I have been thinking of you a lot today since I woke up as today would've been your birthday. I am missing you so much more than you could ever imagine. The family needs you right now, and although I know you're watching over every one of us, it isn't quite the same as you actually being here. I gave birth to a baby boy 7 months ago called Oscar, Grandad. You have a great grandson here who will know all about you growing up. I will forever tell him stories of all the great places you took me when we used to go on walks together. Oh, how I wish I was on one of those walks with you now... I just want to send a big hug and kiss up to heaven, Grandad, for your birthday. 14 years almost since we lost you and your memory still lives on.
